Having observed various attempts at this effect, it was obvious that existing products did not truly represent the action of an arc welder. Considerable research, and observation of the real thing, [through goggles], has led to the development of this visual simulator. We believe that this produces the closest approximation to the sight of an arc welder in action. A major criticism of previous efforts has been the repetitive nature of the effect, in the simulator the 'arc' is of a totally random duration and frequency.

There is another effect to add to the realism, but to appreciate this it must be seen. To get the full benefit, go to your local steel fabricator, and watch them at work for some time, not just a quick look! Then, spend at least ten minutes seeing ours in action. We will be surprised if you don’t agree this is the BEST! Since we think it is so much better, it is going to cost more than others, but if you want realistic operation. Connect the yellow/black wires to a supply, AC or DC 12/15V. Exercise due patience, and observe, [it can take several minutes before anything happens!] If, as is likely, it is necessary to cut the wires to install the unit on a model, take careful note of the connections and wire colours before cutting.
