BR Design 2 EPB2 car unit
A high quality Southern Region multiple unit kit comprising of a fully etched brass body and underframe complete with full cab interior and all partitions. There are ½-etched holes on the inside of the body shell for the high intensity headlight and window bars if required. Fully detailed bogies for the DMBS are included as are Wayoh bogies for the trailer cars. The power bogie is designed to use a Mashima 1833 motor with 2 gears sets driving both axles. As owned by Royal Mail, operated by EWS, and hopefully soon to return if the contract with GBRf is finalized. This kits provides the basis for a nicely detailed representation of the prototype to be modeled, however the builder will need to fabricate bulkheads, partitions, bogie mountings etc from scratch, and have been priced as budget kits. These kits have a power bogie etch that is designed to take a vertically mounted can motor and Delrin chain.
